Olive launched Android-based Smartphone ‘Olive Fluid V-W1′ in India

Launching the Fluid V-W1 for Rs. 10 490, Olive is bringing an affordable 3G smartphone to the Indian market. After Samsung, Motorola and Optimus have all released basic models, it is Olive’s turn to introduce its no-frills smartphone option to the buyers.

Equipped with a 468 MHz Processor, this handy device is running on Google’s Android Eclair 2.1 and has a built-in GPS chip with AGPS capabilities, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP. Other features include a 3 megapixel camera and a 3.5″ TFT Capacity Touch Screen. The phone’s 256 MB internal memory can be extended to 32 GB.

According to the manufacturer, the phone’s 1 300 mAH battery provides its users with 4 hours talk time and up to 8 days of stand-by time.

New customers can take advantage of collaboration with Zenga TV that offer them free subscriptions to all of the company’s service for the first 6 months. This means users can stream their favourite TV programs directly to their phones.

Although the official price tag of the Fluid V-W1 reads Rs. 10 990, customers will be discounted Rs. 500 when they purchase the phone from the company’s website.
